Sandy Campbell is a freelance design consultant in New York City. He specializes in creating corporate marketing materials, websites and digital images. He has also created numerous magazines and newsletters.

Recent Projects

The Brearley School :: 2004-2008 :: Created a uniform, branded look for the four most recent Brearley Benefits. Publicity materials included logos, websites, invitations, posters, tickets and programs.

Borough of Manhattan Community College :: 2004, 2005 & 2006 :: Designed and produced dinner programs for the three most recent BMCC Annual Scholarship Galas, including many of the sponsor ads within the programs.

ROTHSCHILD DESIGN :: 2003 :: Created logo, collectible T-shirt and design of other collateral materials for New York Road Runners’ Club 2003 Half Marathon Grand Prix races.

QUINT & QUINT :: 2003 :: Instrumental in converting Quint & Quint Online, an ad agency’s website, to a more interactive experience using Macromedia Flash. Updated intro animation, helped design user interface, and prepared samples for optimal display and easier updating.

Women’s Advocate Ministry :: 2003–Date :: Transformed an existing theme, “Dare to Care,” into an umbrella identity for their website and all WAM fund-raising materials. 2003 Dare to Care Awards were first to incorporate this new look, which included design of an award logo, invitation, program, donor ads and other collateral materials.

Headlights Magazine :: 1998–Date :: Transformed Headlights into an internationally respected magazine about electric-powered railway systems such as subways and streetcars. Responsible for not only modernizing production and dramatically increasing the use of color, but also editing articles, taking photographs, writing captions, drawing maps and creating an overall professional tone for each issue. On-going design, coding and maintainence of publisher’s website, ERA Online.

FORTUNE MAGAZINE :: 1992–1997 :: Worked in partnership with Fortune writers and editors to design feature articles and information graphics under tight deadlines, including Fortune 500 issue.

METROTECH WORKS :: 1991–1996 :: Collaborated with editor to develop and design quarterly newsletter conceived to promote activities within BrooklynĂ­s MetroTech Business Improvement District.

REVLON :: 1990–1991 :: Designed sell sheets, cosmetic packages, logos and custom patterns for new products and studies. Part of pioneering Macintosh design team.
